Terminology Tuesdays: Destination Charge

Destination Charge is a fee of around $800, depending on manufacturer, for shipping a new car from the manufacturer to the dealer. The Destination Charge is in the invoice price and you can be sure it will be included in your final sales price.

Make sure it’s listed in your itemized Out-the-Door (OTD) price quote and you’ll avoid an $800 surprise when it comes time to sign!
